Job Description
Minimal Risk are recruiting Tier 2 Medics on behalf of a Client to work in Basra
This is a 2 year contract based on 8 weeks in Basra 4 weeks on leave, it includes full life support and flights from hub airport.
This is circa $250 per day for days in Iraq. This works out at $60,000 USD per year.
Qualifications
All Tier 2 MER Professionals shall possess one of the following medical qualifications or equivalent:
Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic (EMT-P)
Paramedic (must supply Registration Number for HCPC check)
Offshore medic, nurse or doctor
As well as one of the above qualifications, must have the following:
Five years Military or Law Enforcement Service
a. Candidate must also have prior experience in Iraq with either the military or private security
b. ALS or ACLS qualification
c. Tier two medical qualification
d. Accredited Close Protection Course
e. PHTLS
f. English speaking as a first language
g. Proof of no criminal record
h. Oil and gas “fit to work” medical certificate (this can be obtained later before deployment, if all the other criteria is met)
All qualifications must be verified, before we can offer a contract
