Internal Roving Security Guard Team Leader , Overseas

Location: OCONUS

Primary Function

Leads, directs and supervises a team of guards performing internal security services. To actively support and uphold the Company’s stated vision, mission, and values.

Essential Functions

Leads, directs and supervises a team of guards performing internal security
Represents all members of the roving patrol team
Mentors and manage of subordinate security personnel
Ensures that all security personnel are properly trained and equipped to function in their assigned positions.
Prepares, completes, or revises Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Action Plans, and Training Plans as necessary

Job Requirements

Shall be fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
Must qualify semiannually with all assigned weapons (including safety functions, capabilities, limitations, and maintenance) IAW US Department of the Army Standards
Must be a US Citizen and possess an active Secret Clearance
Must have reached the grade of E-6 or greater in a combat arms MOS, or equivalent leadership experience in private security or civilian police and successfully served in a supervisory role for at least one (1) year, and received an honorable discharge (all verified by military transcripts, evaluations, and DD214)
Must possess a valid US driver’s license
Must be able to obtain an operator’s license on military tactical vehicles
Must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age or older
Must be able to perform the following physical tasks:

(1) Drag, carry, lift, and/or pull a person to safety

(2) Use physical force to detain a subject or prevent unauthorized entry

(3) Prolonged standing and/or sustained patrol on foot or in a vehicle

(4) Sustained pursuit of suspect on foot

(5) Dodging, crawling, climbing, and/or rapid ascent of stairs

(6) Perform the above wearing duty equipment and/or personal protective equipment under adverse environmental conditions
Intermediate user level of computer systems, Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), database applications, and documentation control systems
Must possess valid passport and travel/work OCONUS
Must be able to pass a physical approving candidate for overseas work
Must be able to meet the physical requirements dictated by project requirements, to include an Annual Physical Ability Test
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation at a frequency as required by contract
