Site Access Manager/Specialist

Responsibilities:


This is a specialist position primarily based at PAE's initial Task Order (TO) location, the Baghdad Embassy Complex (BEC) in Iraq and will be associated with the Program Management Office (PMO). This position will ensure all security-site access responsibilities at the Embassy Complex are carried out and will support the additional Task Order locations as required by the Site Access Manager. This position reports to the Site Access Manager. This position will be responsible for the Embassy Complex O&M Task Orders and Iraq required access for employee badging, vetting, briefings, debriefings, security certificates, visas, LOA's and coordination with Washington, D.C. (WDC) support. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

DUTIES:

Will be the POC for and subject matter expert on obtaining LOA’s for all new employees including the processes for LOA renewals


Will be the POC for and subject matter expert on obtaining all required travel and entry/exit visas including the processes for renewals


Will be the POC for and subject matter expert on obtaining all required vetting including the processes for renewals


Will be the POC for and subject matter expert on obtaining badges for all employees including the processes for renewals


Will track and assist employees through coordination with the Site Access Manager to ensure all employee clearances are valid and current


Will process all clearance upgrade requests through the Site Access Manager


Will report Operational Security (OPSEC) violations immediately to the Site Access Manager and the O&M Embassy Complex Task Order Manager


Provide mandated OPSEC training to all cleared employees annually


Will act as the principle POC with the vetting department and with all badging issues


Will be responsible for notifying the Site Access Manager and the O&M Embassy Complex Task Order Manager regarding evaluated threat level notifications, security violations or breaches in security on the Task Order sites


May be required to give written and oral reports to employees and management and presentations to senior management and external senior level client personnel


Participates in weekly travel briefings and helps prepare travelers for their safety during their upcoming trips


Processes annual briefings to all cleared employees and debriefings to departing cleared employees


Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE:


Five (5) plus years experience in an overseas environment a plus


Basic understanding of security clearance processing and badging principles


Clear understanding of the RSO vetting process for securing Task Order site badges


Working knowledge of the BISA system used in the employee vetting process


Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information


Proficient in Windows Office Suite Computer Programs, especially WORD and Excel


Experience in living and working in a restrictive operational or military environment highly preferred


Must have the training background to give security instructional presentations


Must be independent and able to execute security directives concerning possible threats with minimal guidance and confidentiality

REQUIRED:


Education: High school diploma required. Synchronized Predeployment and Operational Tracker (SPOT) experience and training preferred


Security Vetting : Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT); Must be able to maintain eligibility at the required MRPT level for the duration of the contract


Language Skills: Strong professional English communication skills, both oral and written


Citizenship: US Citizenship is required for this position


Medical: Favorable passage of a drug screen and physical examination

DESIRED:
Relevant overseas contracting experience
Experience working with PAE
Prior experience working with visas, passports and other official documents
Prior experience working with government security agencies
Experience working with a multi-cultural employee population

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of ALL principles and processes involved in operating and supporting security functions at a large-scale overseas facility
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at one time and rapidly adapt to changing priorities and schedules
Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team
Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change
Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information
