Be a part of the team dedicated to keeping America safe at home and abroad. Sotera is looking for top talent to support our customer as a Senior Intelligence Special Advisor in Afghanistan. This position is contingent upon award.
Qualified candidates must have a current TS/SCI.
The Senior Intelligence Special Advisor will:
Support a multi-faceted Intelligence Operations Support program consisting of, but not limited to, All-Source Intelligence Analysts, Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Analysts, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analysts, Intelligence Requirements Collection Managers Special Advisors, Intelligence Analysts, Planners, Targeting Support, Counterintelligence (CI) Support, Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Collection and Debriefing Support, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Support, Screener Support, Multi-Media Exploitation Support, Tactical & Operational Intelligence Analysis, Intelligence Information Management, Requirements Collection Managers, and Special Security personnel to form teams and act independently to provide Counterintelligence support, Collection Requirements Management, analytic and target support, and other intelligence related support services to augment assigned military units, and other intelligence staffs and organizations.
Requirements:
Minimum required qualifications
Education – Bachelor’s Degree
Experience – 12 to 16 years military experience in Military Intelligence, Strategic Intelligence,
Special Operations, Area Intelligence, or Multi INTs within DoD or equivalent Government
agencies such as MOS 35M--Human Intelligence Collector (HUMINT Collector), 18F Special
Forces Intelligence Sergeant, 180A SF WO, USMC – 0211 Counterintelligence/Human
Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist; 0231 Intelligence Specialist , U.S. Navy – Navy Intelligence
Specialist, USAF –1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N7X1 Intelligence Fusion Analyst,
7XOS1 – Special Investigator (SI)
Special skills or qualifications
Multiple deployments to different AORs
Superb communication skills
Requires submission of an unclassified analytical writing sample on Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, the Haqqani Network, ISIS, or the HIG (250 word minimum) with resume
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Proficient at briefing senior leadership at the O6 level
Proficient in utilizing advanced computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
Expert knowledge in the following areas: SWA regional issues, political analysis
Desired qualifications and/or experience
Education – Master’s Degree
Experience mentoring junior and mid-level Intelligence Analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments
Experience working with DoD Special Operations intelligence
Language skills
Qualified candidates must have a current TS/SCI.
